In 2001 Mike Co-Founded BASIK, a digital agency based in New York City. As Managing Director, Mike lead the growth of the agency to a diverse group of 30 designers and engineers.

BASIK developed a focus in Arts, Architecture and Media. Its clients were many of the most famous Art Galleries in the world including Alexander and Bonin, Andrew Edlin, Andrew Kreps, David Zwirner, Galerie Lelong, Gladstone, Marian Goodman, Michael Werner, PACE, P.P.O.W., The Art Dealers Association of America and more.

The company also worked with beauty, fashion and media brands including Bath and Body Works, BBC America, Clarks, Garnet Hill, Nature Publishing Group, New York Magazine, Philosophy, Theory and Victoria's Secret.
