With over 20 years of digital media development experience Mike developed a process for rapidly generating, prototyping and testing software product ideas called the DigiLab. Informed by design thinking, Ideo's brainstorming techniques, and Google Creative Lab's prototyping model, Digilabs apply agile software development techniques to story creation and digital production development.
Part innovation workshop and part prototyping effort, Digilabs achieve actionable results in a cost-effective way. The process features structured ideation sessions and filtering to identify ideas that resonate most.
Through focused sprints the goal is to iterate, fail fast, and break (then fix) things. User feedback milestones are included as well. The final outcome of the DigiLab is a user-tested prototype with an actionable plan for implementation.
